    I have 3 Identical printers plugged physically into 3 different usb ports, They all share USB 1 they will not create seperate virtual usb ports. I have tried various ways of plugging them in before and after the machine is turned on. One printer at a time but nothing works,. I tried re-naming them using different drivers. we tested that on windows 21h2 Build 1.37.1 19044.1586 all 3 work but once the updates run this no longer works. something changed that now defaults the printers to stack on usb 1.Tested this on multiple machines so I know it has to do with windows update.

    Hello, yes the printer is turned on, it works fine this printer since last week I was using it with my old computer, I already try in all 3 usb ports, and in Devixe Manager it shows as "unknown USB device (device descriptor request failed).

    Any suggestions?

    Installing generic printer usb port not showing

    I'm trying to install a tickets printer in Windows 10. When I select "The printer is not on the list" and try to select the port it only shows tcp and com ports (my lap is brand new and it only has usb ports) but there is not usb ports on the list.

    If I only plug the printer and turn it on, windows says that ot doesn't recognize it.

    I already try to install the printer with a driver that I found on the internet but it's the same problem, the instalation assitant shows 3 usb ports and it has the option of testing the ports, all 3 says not usb por found.

    I have a usb fan conected and it works, I haven't try another usb device yet.

    Some help please.
