Windows 10: USB Rode Microphone won't show up in Sound Manager when setting up recording devices

It does show up under "Device Manager" but not under "Sound Manager" devices. Only the generic mic shows. I have right clicked to show disabled devices but nothing comes up. The mic does work as generic but why does it not show as "Rode Microphone" When I right click on the mic icon under Device Manager to driver updates is says there is one but Windows can't find it. I checked with the manager and they say there isn't one to download. It was showing and working fine in "Audacity" a few months back but not now......why?

Low USB microphone recording volume Rode NT-USB Windows 10

I have a Rode NT-USB Microphone that was working just fine on Windows 7 and then we updated to Windows 10 here at vdci/cadteacher San Diego, California and the NT-USB has low USB microphone recording volume. I tried all the troubleshoots and called Rode
here in Long Beach, also Microsoft and they said to contact Rode. At a loss here and feel that Rode need to contact Microsoft to resolve the issue. I need to record some VO in the studio and not have the talent clipping the Mic since I have to max out the
volume to get any frequency reprocess. PLEASE Help

 

USB Microphone not showing up in Recording Devices in sound tab.

I'm using Windows 10, and The Microphone model is a CAD u37. It's not showing up in the options for recording devices, that's my problem. I've restarted my computer multiple times in attempts to get the computer to recognize it but it just won't. It only
seems to recognize the mic as a "USB PnP Sound Device" under "Sound, Video, and Video Game Controllers" in the Device manager instead of audio inputs and outputs. The manual comes with pointless instructions to enabling it on Windows XP. I'm stumped, it should
just be plug and play considering it's a driverless USB device, but I'm puzzled. Any help would be appreciated.

Followed through with those steps, it doesn't seem to make any difference. The problem is that the microphone doesn't show up under recording devices what so ever, so I can't even select it. It's not recognized by the computer and I've tried re-installing
my sound drivers multiple times and no effect has taken place. The mic cord isn't broken because the light comes on indicating that it's ready, it's just not recognized by my computer.
