Windows 10: USB Tethering

Hi!


I am already sittting on this problem for multiple hours now.


I tried to connect my phone per USB Tethering, like I normally and have normally done, for the past couple weeks, since my Router went bye-bye.


But this time, it wouldn´t connect. I tried fixing it by not only restarting, but also Updating my PC, to no avail. I also already tried resetting my Adapters, I tried practically everything.


After a whiole, I realised I need something called a "Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device" and I need to reset it by going into the Device Manager Rightclicking it and so on.


Big Problem: I do NOT have a Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device option availiable to click. It apparently should automatically be installed, and I have no Idea where it could have went, because I did not temper with any of this before I had these problems.


I also tried adding one, that didn´t work as well. If I tried to change another adapter into a Remote NDIS, it would just display Code 10 and I couldn´t create a new one with the Legacy options. Didn´t show up either...


I don´t know what to do anymore.

P.S. It worked today. But only before noon. Then I disconnected it, and when I tried agan in the afternoon, it didn´t work anymore....

• Did you try another device to connect to your computer using USB tethering?
• Are you able to view that your phone is connected on the Windows Explorer?
