    USB to RJ11 Cash Drawer adapter opens drawer while POS application is launching and closing.


    I am having to try and setup a Point of Sale on a Dell OptiPlex running windows 11. We have gotten our POS software to see and connect to the RJ11 Cash drawer using a USB adapter and identifying it as COM 3. Unfortunately when the POS program boots up and initiates the Handshake with the COM port, the cash drawer pops as it is getting a command. It does the same when the program closes. I worked with the cash drawer manufacturer and they said their drivers shouldn't cause this, but couldn't help much as they don't normally recommend using the USB adapter. I am just wondering a different Prolif

    dvd drawer won't open on button

    Many thanks for the quick reply, when clicking the eject button as you describe the drawer opens. To close I have to apply light pressure to the drawer and it closes easily, the same using the small button on the side of the drawer. I was wondering if I
    had changed something in settings by accident.

    dvd drawer won't open on button

    unable to open the dvd drawer on the open button, have to use the little push button on yhe side of the unit, then to close gently push the draw back in.
