Windows 10: USB\VID device requires further installtion.

Hi there, I seem to be caught in a loop, OEM says it's a Windows problem so I figured I'd try and ask here.As the image shows, I've been trying to install the Akai MPC touch, which comes with a touchscreen powered by DisplayLink technology. However, I keep getting code 45, and under events, I have a "requires further installation" message. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it several times following recommended installation procedure but can't quite get Windows to work with its unit. All drivers are up to date and I've done some troubleshooting like running scannow, chkdsk, and DISM,What am I m

Method 2: Update USB Controllers.

To update the USB Controllers from Device Manager follow these steps.

  Go to Device manager in control panel.

  Select Device manager and a Device Manager window will pop-up.

  Double Click on USB Controllers to expand.
  
• 
  Right click on the USB Controllers that is listed and select Update.

Ok, let's see it with pictures step-by-step. First right-click on the USB device and select Update driver software:





Then select Browse my computer for driver software (LAST option) :





The select Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer (LAST option) :





Then select the standard driver from the list and click next:





Click next/OK as required to complete installation. Repeat the steps for all Intel USB devices. Finally click on each USB root device and press DEL to delete it, reply YES when asked. After deleting all USB root devices restart the computer.
