Windows 10: USB WiFi adapter mounting/unmounting

Hi all, The problem I'm encountering is my Wifi adapter isn't connecting to the internet reliably. It started happening out of nowhere. I bought a new one but still the same issue - every couple of minutes the computer makes the "chime" as if I'm plugging and unplugging the adapter, except I'm not touching it. When it is "plugged in" long enough to connect the the internet, it's a spotty connection 170 Mbps download/21 Mbps upload, and the adapter can handle that plenty. I've tried drivers, updates, restarting the PC, nothing seems to work. I plugged the adapter into another computer so I kn

Windows 10 shutdown doesn't unmount despite......

  How exactly you are trying to unmount the drive. Is it through Command prompt or from Disk management?

  What exactly happens when you try to unmount?

  Did you receive any error message while trying to unmount?
  

I suggest you to try the steps given below and check if it helps.

Please close all the Windows before trying the steps.

  Open Disk management.
  
• 
  Right-click the mounted drive that you want to remove, and then click
  Change Drive Letter and Paths.

  Click Remove, and then click Yes.

USB Wireless adapter not connecting to Wifi

Hello

I am having trouble making my new USB Wifi Adapter to work. The drivers are working fine but the issue is it is not connecting to wifi.

1. I am using Windows 10
2. The adapter which I am trying to work is Alfa AWUS036NHA 150Mbps
3. I have also one USB mini wifi adapter attached to my other USB through which I am currently using internet

From the above screenshot, the Wi-Fi 2 is which I am trying to connect. When I right-click on Wi-Fi 2 and click on Connect/Disconnect, It shows the already connected Wifi through USB mini adapter.

When I Disable WiFi and try to connect through WiFi 2 then it shows an error "Change settings, such as making a connection metered"

The device utility does not show any Wifi available connections though there are 2-3 wifi connection is there.








any idea how can I make connect to internet using my new Alfa AWUS036NHA 150Mbps Wireless USB Adaptor - Wi Fi 2 on Windows 10 ?
