Windows 10: USB Wifi & Bluetooth Adapter shows up as "USB Mass Storage Device"

I bought a WIFI & Bluetooth adapter a while ago and it used to work, I am using the same drivers as I always have been using, I don't know at what point it stopped working but now it shows up as a USB Mass Storage Device, the chip in question is the RTL 8822BU.I've tried:Uninstalling device and then re plugging Reinstalling drivers I cannot update the driver even though I do have the file because it shows up as a USB Mass Storage device, so it only lets me install drivers of that type of deviceResetting my PC My windows installation was kind of bad anyways but it still didn't helpEject

Hi there:

I have a Seagate USB portable drive and I mainly use it to connect to my ASUS Oplay! media player to watch the content on TV.

This device use to be an USB mass storage device.

Recently, I noticed whenever I eject my seagte portable drive, the device is showing as ""USB attached SCSI mass storage device" instead of a regular "USB mass storage device". This is when my media player stopped recognising the portable drive (showing
the device is not supported). The portable drive works fine on my Windows 10 PC, just not recognising by my media player anymore.

Wondering if anyone can point out how I can restore my portable hard drive back to a generic USB mass storage device instead of being a "USB attached SCSI mass storage device".

USB Mass Storage Driver Errors

I have an update to this situation. It appears as long as I have a USB Mass storage device plugged in when I boot up my computer the USB Mass Storage driver loads correctly and shows no errors as long as I keep a drive always connected. I can remove and attach USB drives but there must always be at least one USB Mass Storage device connected at a time. As soon as I unmount all USB Mass Storage devices its like Windows is turning off the USB Mass Storage driver because it will not operate correctly again until rebooted with a USB Mass Storage device connected.
