Windows 10: USB Wifi keeps randomly disconnecting

So I have Windows 10 Pro desktop, MSI M/B, Nvidia GPU

I have had 2 different brand (different brands even) USB 3.0 Wifi adapters and they both have exhibited the same behavior.

Intermittently independent of load or any other variable I can think to test they will just disconnect. I get the "USB device removed" sound and then obviously network drops. Then 99% of the time like a minute later it just reconnects and everything is good.

I am currently running an ASUS adapter and I have the most current drivers and I've searched made sure "auto power off the USB device" is turned off everywhere I can think of.

Any ideas?

Windows randomly disconnects WiFi

Hello,

After installing 1903 update, my wifi randomly disconnects. I've to disconnect and reconnect wifi to make it work again.

Can anyone suggest some tips to solve this issue?

I suggest you to Change the USB power management settings and check.

• 
  Open Device Manager.
  
• 
  Double-click the type USB to change power management settings.
  
• 
  Right-click the specific device you want, and then click
  Properties.
  
• 
  On the Power Management tab, change the power management settings.

WiFi keeps getting disconnected


Man do this steps one of that works for 99%

1)can your machine connects to another wifi network
if yes restart or reset your router after that go to your settings and click forget your wifi network as you can see in the picture and try to conect from start




2)if you cant conect anywhere then burn an ubuntu live cd,boot form ther and check if you are be able to concet in your wifi from here .if yes,then you have a software problem with windows,your settings or whatever it is and you need to unistall your drivers and make all windows updates for your machine .
