Windows 10: USB Wireless Headset gets staticky on a consistent basis

I have a RIG 800HX headset and it gets staticky a lot like a walkie talkie. To fix the static, I have to unplug the wireless receiver from my desktop and replug it in or I have to go to the Sound Control Panel -> RIG 800HX -> Advanced -> and change the Format to a different bit & Hz setting. I have the "Disable all enhancements" checked and this issue never happens when I pair it with my nintendo switch.


What can be done to fix this?

Thanks! again for the prompt response and i followed the suggested steps for WiFi issue but troubleshooter didn't report any problem, however the issue persists even as of now. After approaching you i shouldn't be interfering with your troubleshooting but
it seems to me problem as a result of peculiar issue wrt OS, may be because it doesn't flush out the entries related to WiFi settings/system. Also, i was thinking solution must be readily available as Windows 10 team must have fixed issue over a period time
as many users have reported exactly same issue. Sorry! again as i have crossed boundary by suggesting what i suspect. See if you can help as it is somewhat impacting work.

P.S. : For Bluetooth issue i have got a USB headphone and that i acting as a workaround for a while.

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Wireless headset USB issues

I would first try a different USB port, just in case. Then I would open Settings -> System -> and make sure the wireless headset is the default output device. If again you have no sound, then you may use a driver tool such as Snappy Driver Installer to update the driver for you. Have you checked at Logitech's site? The driver for Windows 7 might work.
