Windows 10: USBC dual montitor issue, and THEN Microsoft Community is defective - can NOT even sort...

I have an issue, LIKE SO MANY OTHERS, wherein all along something worked UNTIL it didn't...USBC Hub with monitors FOR A BUSINESS LAPTOP, just quit recognizing monitors one day in April 2024 - M1 MacPro works as it always has, while an HP Home computer is fine. Yet somehow a Lenova Yoga business laptop just quit noticing ALL external montors on the USBC Hub Lenova 500 USBC Universal HubWhat FLAKY behavior...MY COMPLAINT THO! I can't even sort the answers in answersMS - what modern collection of information doesn't provide a means to SORT BY DATE - this one.I'm aggrieved, both with the clumbsy

Problems with Windows 10 Dual Montitors

Kindly make sure that the resolution for both the monitors is the recommended resolution.

I would suggest you try the following steps and see if it helps.

Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

Follow the steps below:

1. Press Windows key + X and select Control Panel.

2. Change View by from Category to Small Icons/Large Icons.

3. Click on Troubleshooting.

4. Select Hardware and Devices and follow the on-screen instructions.

Method 2: Update Graphics Card

Follow the steps below.

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• Expand the Display Adapter.
• Right-click on the Graphics card and select
  Update Driver Software.
• Restart your system

Method 3: Uninstall and then re-install Graphics Card

Follow the steps below.

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• Expand the Display Adapter.
• Right-click on the Graphics card and select
  Uninstall.
• Once, you have uninstalled the driver do not restart, go to the Manufacturer's website and download the latest Graphics Card Driver.
• Double-click (run) and install the driver setup file.
• Restart your system

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

Screen snipping doesn't work on USBC docking station?

Changing the display scaling percentage on either monitor can cause changes in the screen resolution and aspect ratio, which can affect how screen snipping works. To resolve the issue, you can try the following steps:

Check for updates for the USBC docking station and the graphics drivers on the laptop.

Connect the secondary monitor through HDMI instead of USBC to see if the issue still persists.

Try a different USBC docking station, if possible.

If none of the above steps work, you may need to use the screen snipping tool at a display scaling of 100% on either the laptop or the secondary monitor.
