Windows 10: USBs rapidly and randomly re/disconnect

My mouse and keyboard will act as if someone is unplugging and plugging them in as fast as possible. Its usually while I'm playing a game but it can happen while I'm watching YT or even afk on my home screen. It won't happen for hours to days and then suddenly I'm forced to either wait out 10 minutes of my pc being unusable or just restarting it. Whenever I do the latter, it's not uncommon to occur again before I can even open anything back up. I've tried going into settings and disabling "turn off this device to save power" along with trying out multiple keyboards, yet nothing has been shown to help. No viruses are detected either. Any more ideas?

USB 3.0 randomly disconnecting and reconnecting, not power config

So I have a Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10, and an external USB 3 HDD. If I plug in the HDD, a process will begin. First the drive will appear with the drive letter only, and be unreadable, but in an unusual way. Any software that attempts to interact with it will hang until it either crashes or the drive is disconnected. During this stage the drive may disconnect and reconnect multiple times. If left in for long enough, the drive will finally show up with it's name, and be readable. However it still disconnects and reconnects.

Steps I have tried:

• Disabling the power saving features for all USB devices in Device Manager
  
• Reinstalling all USB drivers
  
• Testing hard disk on my desktop computer (where it works fine).
  
• Powering down the drive for an extended time before trying again
  

 

Windows randomly disconnects WiFi

Hello,

After installing 1903 update, my wifi randomly disconnects. I've to disconnect and reconnect wifi to make it work again.

Can anyone suggest some tips to solve this issue?

 

Multiple WIFI USB Adapters Rapidly Disconnect and reconnect

Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this.

I have had on going technical problems for the past 6 months that have resulted in RMAing my Graphics Card motherboard and Power supply. After I finished replacing the mobo and power supply a new issue popped up where my WiFi USB adapter after working for
random amounts of time (sometimes 30 min sometimes 6 hrs) will disconnect then try to reconnect rapidly literally every other second causing the windows USB device sound to also trigger rapidly.

The only way I have found to temporarily fix the rapid disconnecting and reconnecting ( it lasts infinitely) is to shutdown my computer completely and wait a few seconds before powering back on. A simple restart does NOT fix the issue.

This ONLY happens with my WiFi adapter and not with other USB devices I have connected such as my mouse, keyboard, mic or webcam. I have tried switching usb ports multiple time I have tried turning USB power saving off and updating all drivers I could and
finally I tried purchasing a new WiFi USB adapter that I am sure is win 10 compatible and the problem still persists.

I would greatly appreciate any help with this issue as I am currently at a loss on how to proceed and its starting to affect my work.
