  1. Use camera as mirror but in portrait orientation, not landscape

Hello. I am taking a dance class and need a mirror, which I don't have room for in my home. I have a large TV screen monitor, actually, though, and I thought I could display my computer screen on my monitor. I need a split screen so one-half can show my online class and the other half can show my admittedly poor efforts while learning. I can get the split screen going, but the camera is in landscape and I need it in portrait. How can I get the camera output to rotate 90 degrees? Thanks, Elizabeth

    :)

  2. screen orientation

    Hi,

There's an option on Windows 10 to switch between landscape and portrait orientation. We recommend following these steps on how to switch the screen orientation from portrait to landscape:

    • On Cortana search, type display settings.
    • Choose Display settings from the list.
    • Under Orientation, select on Landscape and click
      Apply.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

  3. Lumia Camera - Portrait/Landscape

Ever since the upgrade from Nokia Camera to Lumia Camera, Every photo I take in portrait mode imports into every other application (instagram, Diptic, FB etc) as landscape orientation.

Even checking the photo after Iv'e taken it in "Photos", It shows as portrait but when its selected in another app, it imports in landscape and I have to manually rotate if that option is available or get out, re open and "save a copy" and then try again

Its only happened since the change so its not an issue with the other applications that I have been using for some time without issue.

If I use another photo app like Oneshot or Camera360 I dont have this issue so its defintley this app since the Nokia/lumia camera upgrade/change.

Is this a known bug or is there some setting im missing that can stop this annoying behaviour ?

    (Nokia Lumia 930 running Denim)

  4. Use camera as mirror but in portrait orientation, not landscape

    Lumia Camera - Portrait/Landscape

    Hi Hans

So what your saying is the only way I can fix this is to download another program to my PC, transfer and rotate them then I can use them in third party apps like instagram, diptic et with the right orientation ?

Obviously this is totally not an option when Im taking a photo there and then to use in one of these apps

If my camera is pointing up in Portrait mode then I expect that to be the orientation of the pic when imported to these applications

If I have the phone horizontal, then it should be landscape when imported

I dont point my camera "down", I hold it up as normal as I always have

This is the way it always worked before the app changed to Lumia Camera.................. so frustrating thats its been stuffed and there is no way to fix the APPLICATION (ie Lumia Camera) that is causing the issue
