    Use my old iMac as a display for Windows Laptop


    As per web help and youtube tutorials, I am trying to use my old iMac as a display for my windows laptop. I have checked and all the specs for the iMac are compatible for Target Display Mode, however I cannot get it to work. I have a Belkin Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter running into my iMac. The other end of the HDMI running directly into my laptop.I don't know if it's the cables that aren't allowing me to do this or something to do with settings. I have contacted Apple Support and they advised that I should be asking the question in here.Has anyone successfully done this? Please help.Thank

    Laptop display question

    Confusing statement! You want to change the display on your laptop that died?

    Is that correct?

    How do you know its the display that's bad?

    Just google "how to change display on a acer 5745"

    Should get you to step by step instructions. But first make sure its the display that's bad

    Thunderbolt Displays using Windows 10 in Dual boot on iMac

    I have two thunderbolt displays connected to my iMac via Thunderbolt cables. They work great. When I installed windows 10 via dual boot on the iMac Windows will only recognize one of the monitors. I have installed all of the latest drivers. Any suggestions
    would be appreciated.
