  1. Use of 2 identical cards GPU on Windows 11 -how to them for separate tasks?

I have Windows 11 Pro with two Nvidia RTX A4000 GPU cards, which I primarily use for video rendering. Since both cards are identical and I use them for rendering separate tasks in various applications, they are identified as "Nvidia RTX A4000". Windows typically forces the use of the card in the first slot the one connected to the monitor, even when I change the CUDA 3D settings in Nvidia's control panel to prioritize the card in the second slot, which then disables the card in the first slot.In all software, under "Choose GPU card," both cards are listed with identical names, making it diff

  2. Task Manager GPU readout not correct.

Hello! I've got a 2-GPU system that I'm using to run Folding@Home. This, naturally, fully loads both graphics cards. However, Windows Task Manager only shows a 0-2% load on the cards. This also occurred when running a video game for a more normal GPU task.
Radeon Settings, GPU-Z, and MSI Afterburner all correctly showed usage at 99%, as well as my video card's light-up 'Tachometer'. Why is task manager failing to detect this load?

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

Use of 2 identical cards GPU on Windows 11 -how to them for separate tasks?

Windows update: one PCIe slot and one GPU kaput

Memtest86 is good, but no RAM tester can detect all possible RAM failures. I would suggest that you adopt a slow and careful step-by-step approach to troubleshooting this clear hardware issue. I would suggest that you strip the PC to the bare minimum. Unplug all external devices except monitor, mouse, and keyboard. You've already removed the GPU, so remove all but one RAM stick (and try other RAM sticks too). Remove unnecessary PCIe cards (extra USB ports cards, WiFi cards, for example). If it fails in as stripped-down version as you can achieve then I'd look at the PSU, and then the motherboard. This isn't a software issue though.
