Windows 10: use of a System Repair Disk

Good morning.quick question: is a system repair disk usable by more than one system. I have 4 different PCs for family members and every couple months I run backups on all of them. In the past, I have created a system repair disk for each of them. Do I need to do that? All of the computers are running W10. Can I just create one system repair disk that will work on all 4, or are they specific to the system they were created on?Appreciate any info,Jim

Both the computers would have USB ports so I suggest you to create a Recovery drive instead of Repair disk. Here are the steps:

One Recovery drive would work on both the computers.

You might have to disable Fast boot/Secure boot to boot from the recovery drive if you need to. Consult the PC manufacturer on how to do it.

 

Programs not working

In post 26 there were steps listed to fix the operating system corruption.
Are you able to follow them?
In post 29 was the suggested dism repair command.
