Windows 10: Use Remote Desktop while also logged in. Windows 11 Pro

I upgraded my desktop machine to Windows 11 Pro for one and only one reason. I want to be able to remote into it from my laptop while still playing VR games on the desktop itself without going through the remote desktop. So far, I've configured every group policy that I can that might have an effect to no avail. 1. I logon to my desktop using either my Microsoft or a local account. I've tried both2. I log on from the laptop multi-monitor using mstsc Remote Desktop. I've tried again, using both Microsoft and the local account. 3. I'm logged out of the desktop, or either prompted that

Okay guys need some help here before going crazy...
I am trying to setup a remote desktop connection and see exactly what the logged on user is looking at with out going through Windows Remote Desktop.

Since its local network I don't have any password or want to setup a password.

Any suggestions are appreciated

 

Windows 11 pro not connecting to remote desktop

I upgraded my new computer from Windows 11 to Windows 11 pro to be able to access remote desktop and log into my work computer tower. I have tried to login in and cannot figure out how I need to reconfigure the IP setting to give me access.

Remote Desktop is not available on Windows 11 Home, only on Windows 11 Pro and Enterprise.

If you have the Home edition of Windows 11, you can use the Chrome Remote Desktop as an alternative.
