Sir,

I have downloaded Windows 10 iso file using Media Creation Tool. After the download finished, I took the iso file and made a bootable USB device. Now, when I try to open setup.exe, I get the following error :


"Use the other installation disc that says 64-bit. When you insert it, Windows Setup will restart automatically."


Its a kind request. Please help me out with this. I have attached necessary details and images below.

i have downloaded windows 10 home single language with media creation tool (64bit) (my pc has windows 8.1 single language (64bit))

but when i started the setup it says "Use the other installation disc that says 64-bit. When you insert it, Windows Setup will restart automatically."
previously i tried downloading windows 10 home edition(only home not home single language) through the same media creation tool but the setup is not accepting my product key even though my windows is original. please help.

Windows 10 64 bit setup cannot be started from within a 32 bit version of Windows. You will need to boot from the installation media.

• Switching to Windows 10 64 bit is free, you don't have to pay for it. As long as you have a qualifying Windows 7 or 8 or Windows 10 license, you are entitled to use it.
• Switching requires that you perform a new installation, that means files, applications and settings will be deleted.

Step 1: Download Windows 10 64 bit then create a bootable copy - if you already have install media, you can skip this step:

Running a 32 bit program on a 64 bit computer

Andre, I did exactly what you said to do, downloaded the media creator, the 32 bit windows 10 install, burned to a DVD, set a partition in my drive and when I tried to install it got "Use the other installation disc that says 64-bit. When you insert it,
Windows setup will restart automatically."

Now what?
