Windows 10: Use Windows Admin Center for a Hyper-V core server

Hi, strange enough I don't get the Hyper-V functions like VMs in the Windows Admin Center (WAC).

Everything else is running and showing up as expected.

Both are running on Windows server 2016 core (the admin center as a single VM).

Is there a prerequisite on server core for the admin center to show the Hyper-V functions?

Hyper-V Server Core 2019

I did temporary install of hyper-v server core 2019 but was left bemused as to how we're supposed to administer system properties locally.

How do I manage System Properties or other Control Panel items from the command line?

There doesn't appear (on disk) to be a pagefile created and got me wondering how to manage such things. Also, automatic driver installation and system protection settings.

is there a *printable* reference of PowerShell commands and other admin utils?

lastly. Why isn't there a dedicated forum for Server admins?

Hi Geoffrey,

Hyper-V lets you run an operating system or computer system as a virtual machine on Windows. Before proceeding in disabling
Hyper-V, please create a backup of your files for security purposes.

To disable Hyper-V, please follow the steps below:

• On the Cortana search box, type Turn Windows Features on or off and press
  Enter.
• Look for the Hyper-V folder.
• Uncheck the tick-box next to the main Hyper-V folder and click
  OK.
• Restart your PC.
