Windows 10: Used msconfig to ensure that my computer started in safemode but now it doesn't turn on at all

So previously I had and I guess I still do a problem with getting into safe mode - every time I tried to restart my computer to get into safe mode it would just end up as a black screen. The monitor would be seemingly off there is an orange light, not a green one. I found an article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/start-your-pc-in-safe-mode-in-windows-92c27cff-db89-8644-1ce4-b3e5e56fe234 which recommended I use msconfig to try to get the computer to start automatically into safemode. I did that, but now the computer doesn't turn on as normal. All I see is a black screen

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

msconfig - set to start in SAFEmode

OK - I have Win10 PRO - logged in normally as a user - ran msconfig and set the checkbox to start in SAFEmode - but didn't realize that recently, there is now a login required to go into SAFEmode - well it does NOT take my microsoft admin PW - don't know why - so now I cannot get into SAFEmode and whenever I reboot, the first thing is sees is the checkbox above telling Windows to go into SAFEmode, where I cannot find a pw. I changed my admin (microsoft login) pw which I am led to believe is the PW that windows wants to go into SAFEmode. But it does NOT work - so now stuck in never never land.

Question - How can I get into MSconfig again so I can UNcheck the box telling Windows to go to SAFEmode? ? ?

 

Msconfig changed and no more login

It comes up that it isn't available. It isn't in safemode and there is no item in the bcdedit list with safemode.

However, I was able to solve this.

Although I cannot get into safemode with F8 or holding shift-restart, I was able by shutting down my system 3 times by holding power switch on computer. It came up with options and that allowed me access to safemode. From there I win-r for run box and started msconfig to restore.
