    Used zoom to talk with my family today, now my microphone doesn't work with any apps.


    So I used Zoom for the first time today to play jackbox party with my family (social distancing).

    I had to mute myself about halfway through because my headsets microphone was picking up my speakers audio so I muted. And a little popup came up in the bottom right of my screen and told me to disable my audio device.

    Two hours later I restart my computer and now nothing picks up my headsets mic. Whether it be zoom, discord, or any games. I need help as I'm about 15 minutes away from losing it lol. I've already tried right clicking my volume setting in the taskbar and opening sound settings. And it doesn't say that my mic is disabled anywhere. It's still my default input device.

    My microphone and ear-phone doesn`t work. Please help me, I have windows 7 home basic, my computer reproduces a sound, but devices no.

    Use the microphone in a Zoom meeting

    Hello @Bluewind, *Smile
    Start Zoom app, then right click on the Zoom icon in System Tray > Settings then select Video from Settings -

    Do you see yourself or any image from camera? Then next click Audio from same Zoom settings window and test speaker and microphone. See if that helps confirm your camera, microphone, and speakers/headphones are recognized and operational in Zoom.

    I have found the Zoom app very useful for confirming my camera, microphone, and speakers are working on my PC *Smile Much easier than Windows anyway.

    My headphones microphone doesn´t work

    I recently updated my Asus laptop to windows 10 and noticed that my microphone doesn´t work anymore. Before it was working well and after the update it started using my laptops own mic and in settings i cant change input to anything
