Windows 10: User-192 isn't Working as the Default User Picture on the HP 450

School Image: Widnows 10 Edu 1903 on an HP 450.

Placed the school image on the HP 450 which contains the UseDefaultTile registry key set to 1. However, the user-192 is no longer the default and instead user.png becomes the default.

This only occurs on the HP 450 all other machines utilises the UseDefaultTile correctly. Examples HPs 440, 6540b, 6000, 6200, 6300; Asus, Gigabyte etc.

Ideas of how to fix this?

User Acc. Picture on Lock Screen

This error typically occurs if your copy of Windows is not activated or is non-genuine. If Windows is genuine and activated, I suggest that you follow the steps provided below to rectify the issue:

• Navigate to the following folder in the File Explorer window:
  C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures
• In the User Accounts Pictures folder, you’ll see the default user account pictures. You’ll just need to replace these pictures with your desired picture for user account. There are
  guest.bmp (448×448 px.), guest.png (448×448 px.),
  user.bmp (448×448 px.), user.png (448×448 px.),
  user-40.png (40×40 px.) and user-200.png (200×200 px.) pictures.
• Replace the default ones with the image you want to use as user account picture using the same format and size.
• Restart your PC and see if the issue persists.

Printer isn´t working after latest update.

After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

 

Current active users that are friends

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.
