  1. User Access Control Prompts user credentials each time.

    Hi

I've installed Windows 10 version 1909 Build18363.10.16 in my machine. When I try to run an application each time prompts for user name & password.

I've reduced user access control to never notify. but still it prompts the user name password. I'm not sure what else I've to do. I've attached pictures of local security policy. Can anyone suggest how to go about it.

    Thanks.

    Regards

    Venkat

User Account Control Prompt for Credentials in Windows 10 Pro

    Hi there,

The UAC is working is some extend but the end user still can access to some features.

What I need to restrict access to some features as mentioned. When a user is using a standard account with no admin rights and wants to access to the above features that I have described, I need for the UAC windows to prompt and ask for the "administrator
credentials" to continue. This is important because when I need to remote into the device to troubleshot any issues the end-user may have, I can enter my admin credentials and access to any features that I need, but I do not want for the Standard user to access
    to the features by themselves.

    Example:

Standard user is trying to access to the Control Panel > Then a UAC windows will Prompt asking for credentials > Then, I enter my admin credentials to access to the Control Panel.

Note: I don't want for the Standard user to access Control Panel with his\her credentials.

    Thank you.

User Access Control Prompts user credentials each time.

User Account Control displays administrator names

    Hi Devlin,

Thank you for replying and for taking the time to help me with this. I made the suggested adjustments for the standard user and it does prompt me to enter credentials, but only for the password. The username portion of the prompt displays both of the admin
accounts (names) I created on the machine. If possible I would like to have the prompt with blank boxes for the user name and the password.
