  1. User Account Control - pop-up alert upon Start-up - how do I disable message that X-Rite...

How do I stop these alerts from appearing everyday? There is an option "Change when these notifications appear" but does it impact this alert or all alerts? I asked Lenovo through a chat, and they were useless. I took screen shots if you need to see t

    Disable User Account Control pop-up

    Hi,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

User Account Control (UAC) can help prevent unauthorized changes to your computer. UAC notifies you when changes are going to be made to your computer that require administrator-level permission. These types of changes can affect the security of your computer
or can affect settings for other people that use the computer. We recommend that you leave UAC on to help make your computer secure.

    1. Have you made any changes to the pc prior to this issue?
    2. Have you logged in as admin on the pc?

Sign out from the current user account, restart the pc and login to the admin account to check if that helps.

If the issue persists then refer the steps and see if it helps.

I would suggest you to set User Account Control settings to default and check, if it works.

    1. Type User account control settings in the search bar, Then User account control settings Window will open.

    2. Set the pointer at default in the User account control settings Window.

Let us know if this helps.

Keep us posted for further assistance, we are here to assist you.
