  1. user account control settings will not say in "Never notify me when"

    G'day Folks,

I have the reoccurring issue with "user account control settings will not say in "Never notify me when" I can get it to stay there as long as the workstation is on, however one rebooted after a "Shut Down" it reverts back to the default "Notify me only when apps try to make changes to my computer default"

Is there a registry or other fix for this so it will stay in "Never notify me when"

    Regards

User Account Control: Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?

    Hi Josh,

User Account Control helps prevent malware from damaging a computer. It also allows all users to log on to their computers using a standard user account. To isolate your issue, we'd like to know the following:

    • Have you tried booting up your computer in Safe Mode?
    • Do you have an antivirus application installed?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you change your User Account Control Settings in Control Panel to modify the Settings. Kindly follow these steps:

    • Open Control Panel and click User Accounts icon.
    • Click Change User Account Control settings.
    • This will open the C:\Windows\System32\UserAccountControlSettings.exe file.
    • If prompted by User Account Control, click Yes.
    • Move the slider up or down to the setting for how you want to be notified by User Account Control, and click OK.
    • If prompted by UAC, click Yes.
    • When finished, you can close User Accounts.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

User Account Control for Exchange ActiveSync Policies Broker

    Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I apologize for the delay and inconvenience.

I would request you to try and disable UAC (User Account Control) prompts by following the steps below and check if it helps.

    • In the search bar, type Control Panel and press Enter.

    • Click on User Accounts and again click on User Accounts.

    • Click on Change User account control settings.

    • Provide password for the UAC prompt.

    • Drag the box from Always Notify to Never Notify and click on OK.

    • Provide password for the UAC prompt (if asked again).
Important: Turning off UAC reduces the security of your computer and may expose you to increased risk from malicious software. We do not recommend leaving UAC disabled.

Hope the information is helpful. Keep us posted on the status for further assistance.
