Windows 10: user account does not have permission to view task history

Discus and support user account does not have permission to view task history in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; 3 days ago I enabled task history in Scheduled Tasks console, then run some tasks like ProactiveScan in \microsoft\windows\chkdsk folder.     3 days ago I enabled task history in Scheduled Tasks console, then run some tasks like ProactiveScan in \microsoft\windows\chkdsk folder. All remotely and via "runas" admin btw my W10 is pro & workgroup. When I click their History tab actually any task that have run after I enabled history overall I get: "user account does not have permission to view task history". Then, just in case because I'm trying to see history as admin I've granted all users read perm. to C:\Windows\System32\Tasks, to no avail...Does someone have had this issue too and knows how to solve it? TIA

    Why is the Task View is no longer showing activity history

    The task view button used to show active tasks and a nice list by day of activity history. Now it only shows current active tasks and history for Jan 10-11.

    In settings/privacy, It is checked to collect activity history for my account.

    Hi Sharon,

    I'm Benedict, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you. Sorry to hear that, I'm here to help and work with you in your concerns.

    Kindly check in your Settings if you haven't enabled some options in your Activity History:

    1. Open Start Menu and open Settings.

    2. Click on Privacy.

    3. Click on Activity History.

    4. In the right pane, under Activity History, enable the two options:

    - Let Windows collect my activities from this PC

    - Let Windows sync my activities from this PC to the cloud

    5. Next, under Show activities from accounts, enable the account(s) you want to view its history in the Task View timeline.

    The user account you are operating under does not have permission to disable this task.

    Attempts to disable or modify any task in Task Scheduler results in "The user account you are operating under does not have permission to disable this task."; even though my user account has Administrator privileges. I have created a new
    task; it works correctly and I can modify it anytime. Tasks created by me in the past or tasks created by software (update checks, etc) cannot be modified. Any suggestions how to fix this?
