Windows 10: user account not showing on home screen

yesterday I needed to check a network adapter setting, the main user name I work under is not an administrator, so I switched to the admin user to check the settings. when i went to switch back my main user name, the one I have all my work stuff in, it disappeared from the home screen. it now only gives me the admin user name and other user, only 2 names - before there were those 2 names and the one I do all my work underI check the user list and the name I use for work is not on therethis is a laptop a few months old and uses windows 11 proany advice?

Thanks, but I’m confused by your second paragraph explanation. The list shows an Administrator account and an account labeled Sam and Sam Jones, the latter apparently being the account showing as the Administrator account on the User Accounts page. What is the difference? And where might the Sam account that also shows up on the login screen at start up, i.e. the point of this thread, be?

 

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Forum users with Hotmail/Outlook/Exchange account
