User Accounts - After Upgrading to Windows 10

In File Explorer, now has FOUR accounts, specifically, Default, Default Migrated, K, and Public. K should have been my personal user account which was set up under Win 8.1. What are these other accounts doing, why do I need them and how can I remove them? Thanks!

    :)

  2. Does Windows 10 Prompt the user to add a Microsoft account after installation?

A friend claims that her computer that recently was upgraded to Win 10 prompted her to create a Microsoft account about a month after the upgrade. She logs in with a local account. I have not heard of Windows 10 prompting users like that post-upgrade.

So, does Windows 10 ever prompt the user to add a Microsoft account
    after installation?

  3. Creating more than one local user account

    Hi!

I have two user accounts in my Windows 7 pc. After I upgraded to Windows 10 one account vanished, the account I used to upgrade vanished. I couldn't create any other account with the one user account Windows 10 shows. So I like to know How to show and create
2 local user accounts in windows 10.

You can delete Default.migrated. Just right click and delete on the folder under C:\Users should work if you are an administrator. It is the copied version of the old Default profile that you had before upgrade.

Default is used when making new profiles as a template. Public is expected to be there by some programs and features (for example Hyper-V). You should leave these two alone.
