Windows 10: user accounts

Discus and support user accounts in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; When I switch on my computer it always starts up in Safe Mode.     When I switch on my computer it always starts up in Safe Mode. Then as I have Memeo Premeium Backup I get a message stating that it is "already running in another user session. Please quit Memeo Premium Backup in the other session if you want to launch it here". I restart my computer and it boots up normally, not in Safe Mode, asks for the password but I still get another message about Memeo. I have two laptops and an old PC which are all switched off, so my Dell 360 AIO is the only device switched on. I can't find any other users on my AIO and I didn't find out until yesterday that Memeo had not backed up any of my files I have been using since December 2017. I spent all day doing a full back up to a Micro SD card yesterday, but it is not backing up the files I have been using since then, I just get the same message at start up that it is being used in another user session. As far as I am aware there are no other users and I cannot find them in my settings.

    Where would I find other users or hidden users? I use Windows 10 and have Kaspersky security.

    Remove account


    I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
    To delete an account, follow these steps:
    1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
    2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

      net user test /del

    I can't rename my user account

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.


    • Are you using a Microsoft account or local account?
    If you are using local account, I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the user name.

    Please follow the steps to rename the user account in Windows 10.

    a. In the search box, type user accounts and click on User Accounts.

    b. Click on “Change your account name”

    c. If it’s prompting for password please enter and click on Yes. If you do not have password click on Yes.

    d. Enter the new user name.

    e. Click on change name.

    Problem with user accounts.

    I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: Initially, I suggest you to run the Microsoft account troubleshooter.

    Step 2:

    Now try to switch from Microsoft account to Local account and check.

    Refer to these steps to convert Microsoft account into Local User account:


    • Click on Windows button, then click on
      Settings.

    • Click on Accounts then click on
      Your account
      .

    • Click on Sign in with a local account instead.

    • Following the Online instructions.
