Windows 10: User Accounts

Hello, I am about to get a new computer, my first with Windows 10, and I'm trying to find out if I can use my Microsoft account on 2 separate user accounts on one pc, so I can have an one admin and one standard user both logged into my MS account, if possible/allowed.
The reason I ask is that I have read that you shouldn't use an admin account for everyday use (like I do now and have for years), but when you first setup a new pc it's automatically an admin account and Windows automatically tells you to sign in thus putting me in the position I'm supposed to avoid.
I've read about creating a new admin account and then removing admin privileges from your own account, etc, but isn't their an easier way to achieve this, at initial setup stage?

Sorry if this is a repeat question or if I asked in a confusing way, but I'm struggling to explain it, and I've found nothing online that answers it. Links to straight answers appreciated!

Remove account


I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

   net user test /del

 

I can't rename my user account

  Are you using a Microsoft account or local account?
  

If you are using local account, I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the user name.

Please follow the steps to rename the user account in Windows 10.

a. In the search box, type user accounts and click on User Accounts.

b. Click on “Change your account name”

c. If it’s prompting for password please enter and click on Yes. If you do not have password click on Yes.

d. Enter the new user name.

e. Click on change name.

Problem with user accounts.

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: Initially, I suggest you to run the Microsoft account troubleshooter.

Step 2:

Now try to switch from Microsoft account to Local account and check.

Refer to these steps to convert Microsoft account into Local User account:
