Windows 10: User AppData Folder Hidden Taking on 250GB HDD Space - How To Reduce ?

New Laptop PC, Windows 10 all latest updates, and with 1TB HDD.I have iTunes with iPhone backups on HDD...~350GB.I have OneDrive but all but 20GB in Cloud.Rest of items are 50GB.The problem is my HDD right click C: for Properties shows ~750GB used on disk space.After doing lot of folder searches I found a HIDDEN folder under C:\USERS\myname\APP DATA\LOCAL\TEMPSo...my question is how do I clean this folder ?The typical Windows C: right click "Cleanup Disk" utility does not seem to see it.Thx !

Hidden folders

I installed `Kane and Lynch` on my PC twice in Program Files(x86) folder but I can`t find them (2 folders with game). But free space on my HDD is lower. So there`re those folders on my hdd. I use option `unhide` hidden folders but still can`t find them. Any suggestions? How can i delete those hidden folders?

When I run istallation for this game I can see those folders in Program Files(x86) folde.

I`m using Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

• Write in the search box the following: “%appdata%” .
• After the search is finished left click or tap on the folder that the search feature found.
• If it takes you to the following path: “C:\Users\The user that you are logged in with\AppData\Roaming”.
• It means that your folders are still there but they are hidden.
• Click on “View”.
• Check the box “Hidden items”

How do I access the appdata folder when it is not my C:\ drive?

Its a hidden folder by default. You need to enable hidden files and folders. You can navigate to it though by typing in the path or if you are logged in under the user account in question in explorer just click on the navigation bar and type %appdata% its a system variable so it will open it right up.
