Windows 10: User can't access internet only intranet after using laptop hotspot for mobile

Hi there

I have a user computer x2 since she did it with both

The user created a hotspot on the laptop to use for her phone to connect to during the working times,

The issue now is this has caused the laptop to not be able to go onto any website keeps loading and then bombs out

She can access file servers locally fine, and if i use VPN on the laptops to connect to the server it also works fine

I've formatted both the laptops and they both still yield the same result, any idea what I can do to resolve this?

best way to use laptop internet as hotspot?

Hello,

My wifi router isnt working rightnow but internet is working by lan cable in laptop directly.

How can i use my laptop as wifi hotspot and use wifi in my mobile phone?

Mobile hotspot Connected but no internet access

After Upgrading to Windows 10 in my Laptop ( LENEVO B590 ) i tried to use the feature of mobile hotspot

while i connected to the internet by my USB modem, every thing is going good and when i am connected with my phone ( NEXUS 5 ) to the network created by turning on mobile hotspot there is no internet access although there is internet access in my laptop

Any Help please because i used to use Connectify software in older version of Windows to share my internet from laptop

You may change the password of your mobile hotspot so that the person you don't allowed to use it can't connect to it. To assist you better, we'd like to know if you've tried changing the password. Which build and version of Windows 10 are you using?

In the meantime, we suggest that you follow these steps below on how you can change the password of the Mobile hotspot.:

• Open Settings then select Network & Internet.
• Choose Mobile hotspot.
• Under Mobile hotspot section, you can see the current name of the Wi-Fi hotspot and password. To change mobile hotspot name or password or both, click the
  Edit button.
• Enter a new password for the network. Click Save button. Note that the password must be of at least 8 characters.
