User getting logged out from remote desktop seesion don't know why

    Hello all,

My user is remote accessing into her office pc from her home pc both Win 10 Pro.

Strangely sometimes no rhyme or reason and it's not everyday she get the windows message "Your Remote Desktop Services Session has ended"

Another user has connected to the remote computer so your connection was lost. We cannot figure out why this occurring. The Event log show a lot

logon / logoff entries but the all have my users login on them. I don't know if this is suggesting that someone else has her login credentials, however they would have to have her VPN access key as well to remote into the network. In addition I thought that when a user was taking over or logging into an active rdp session the the message displayed informs the active user someone displays the user name is trying to login to the pc and the active users has to grant / refuse access or allow the timeout period which will allow the non active user to take over the pc. Is there a way that I can definativly determine what is causing the active user to get logged out?

    Thanks for any ideas.

    AJINC

    remote desktop woe`s

Users that are part of the Remote Desktop Users group and have a password set would be able to log into the computer remotely.

    remote desktop woe`s

Since when is that? My local account does not exist on my server, I can log in fine. I could always log in at home from work, again different accounts and even different domains. It matters not, you can enter any credentials. It would be rather useless if it works like you suggested. I fact, no Windows authentication works that way, you can always enter other credentials.
