Windows 10: USER/GROUP TrusterInstaller missing

Discus and support USER/GROUP TrusterInstaller missing in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; i wanted to give program files folder TrustedInstaller permissions but i cant find it and also it gives a error if i type it manually but the error is...     i wanted to give program files folder TrustedInstaller permissions but i cant find it and also it gives a error if i type it manually but the error is like it didnt find it or isnt existing

    User Account Missing after upgrading to Windows 10

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

    User account not available issue may occur when your lost User account is not a part of any group. Therefore, I would suggest you follow the given steps and see if it helps:

    • On the Search bar type “cmd” and
      click ctrl + shift + Enter       to open the Elevated Command Prompt.
    • Type the following command: net localgroup “Administrators” [Computer Name]\[Missing User] /add
    Regarding Kaspersky not compatible, Since we do not deal with third party applications I would suggest contact the third party application manufacturer about the issue.

    Hello Frank, and welcome to Ten Forums. USER/GROUP TrusterInstaller missing :)

    If you have the Windows 10 Home edition, then it will not have Local Users and Groups (lusrmgr.msc) included in it. It's only available in the Pro and Enterprise editions instead.

    If you like, you could use step 3 in OPTION THREE of the tutorial below list users in a group.

    Missing User Account After Windows 10 Upgrade

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your issue, however you can follow the steps below in order to bring the missing user account in a group.

    • Open administrative Command Prompt.
    • Paste following command and press Enter:
    net localgroup “Administrators” [Computer Name]\[Missing User] /add

    Basically, it seems that it wasn't visible because the missing user didn't belong to any group. Add them to a group and it all comes back. You can see all the profiles at "View Advanced System Settings" under the "Advanced"
    Tab, clicking Settings under User Profiles.
