Windows 10: User Office 365 Home version offline?

I have an Office 365 Home account and have found that the web versions of Word, Excel etc. to be fine for day today use. So, I was wondering if there is a way to use them offline in the same way as you can use Google Doc's etc. or do I need to be connected to the internet all the time?

They are the same, 365 has less money making schemes, but dumps everything on the cloud.
365 is online, 2013 is 100% offline.
Also 365 will cost more in the longrun, especially if you dont upgrade for 3 years.

Office 365 is just leasing software. It's incredibly cost effective, and hands down the better value if you want to always have the latest and most up to date versions of the office suite programs.

If you just want to just slap a version of office on your computer and use that one for years to come, then yes, the offline version would be cheaper.

Let's face it. If you want the absolutely lowest cost for a suite then download an open source alternative.

this is not true.Office 365 is not 100% online. You have plan that can have also the offline version, like the home premium.
