    Hi,Recently I reset my windows 10 computer. Now when I'm trying to sign in it's showing " The user profile service failed the login. User profile cannot be loaded"I found a solution, for that I have to go to enable safe mode. Now when I'm trying to enable safe mode, it's showing me a message, "Out of range". If I try to go with command prompt, it's asking for password, but when I enter the password it's not working.I've only one monitor.It's very emergency for me to login my computer. Someone please help me about this, I'll be very thankful.Thanks in advance

  2. The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in. User profile cannot be loaded.

    Hello,

    When attempting to login to my computer, I get the following message:

    "The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in.

    User profile cannot be loaded."

    I referred to this Help article,You receive a "The User Profile Service failed the logon” error
    message,

    but the only difference is I only have one user profile on this computer. So, I can't login with another user to go through the steps listed in this post.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

  3. user profile service failed the logon windows 10

    Hi,

    Thanks for updating status of the above issue.

    User profile service (ProfSvc) is a service responsible for loading and unloading the user profile. If
    ProfSvc is stopped or disabled, user will not be able to login into the user profile. You may be facing the above issue due to the
    User Profile Service (ProfSvc) not enabled/started in the user profile.

    To enable the profile, you have to login into the user profile and turn the
    ProfSvc service to On and Running for the profile to activate again.

    Method 1: Before proceeding with the services enabling process, boot the PC in safe mode by following the steps from the link below and check if you are able to login into the user profile.

    Safe mode is a diagnostic mode that starts your computer with limited drivers necessary to run Windows. The words
    Safe Mode appear at the corners of your monitor to identify which Windows mode you are using. Logging into
    Safe mode will help in diagnosing if the issue is caused due to the corrupted user profile or the services disabled on the PC.

    Expand the options to boot into Safe Mode:

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/troubleshoot-black-screen-problems

    Reboot the PC to exit from Safe mode.

    To know more about Safe mode, following is an article on
    Windows Startup Settings (including safe mode) (Applies to Windows 10 also):

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/windows-startup-settings-safe-mode

    Method 2: If you are not able to login into your account in safe mode, it means the user profile you are trying to login is corrupted. Enable
    built-in administrator by following the steps below, create a new user profile, transfer all the data from the corrupted user to the newly created user profile and check if the issue is resolved.

    Step 1: Enable built-in administrator account.

    • Open elevated command prompt by entering Safe mode with Command prompt.
      To go to safe mode, use the power button on the sign-in screen and press
      Shift + Restart. This will take you to the recovery boot menu. Click
      Troubleshoot> Advanced options> Startup settings.
      You then see a list where you can choose Safe Mode with Command
      prompt.
    • Type the following command: net user administrator /active:yes and press
      Enter.
    • Login into the built in administrator user profile and create a new user profile with administrator privileges.
    • Delete the corrupted user account from the built in administrator.
    • Then lock your screen by pressing Windows key + L, and sign-in at the
      Administrator account.
    • Check if the issue persist and you can disable built in administrator account by typing the command:
      net user administrator /active:no
      in the Command prompt (Admin).

    Step 2: To create a new user account follow the steps below:

    • Open Elevated command prompt by right clicking on the
      Start
      icon and selecting Command prompt (Admin).
    • Type net user NewAccount password /add and click
      Enter
      .
    • Type net localgroup Administrators NewAccount /add and click
      Enter.
    • Log off from the system and login to the new user account.

  4. User profile service failed the login,,out of range, can't enable safe mode.

    The User Profile Service service failed the login

    In my computer, one by one, all three user accounts have been corrupted, with the final corrupted account being the administrator. At startup, this has been the message, “The User Profile Service service failed the login. User profile cannot be loaded”.
    And now that the administrator account cannot be directly accessed, this is what I’ve attempted to do:

    1. restart the computer;

    2. hit F8 repeatedly when the computer boots;

    3. open in Safe Mode to log on with the built-in administrator account, then hit Enter;

    4. open the Admin account;

    5. ‘Windows Help and Support’ window opens, then I type in “The User Profile Service service failed the login” > Fix a corrupted user profile;

    6. Create a new profile by first creating a new user account, and now follow the steps to create a new user account. AT THIS POINT, the ‘Manage another account’ button does not activate anything. Therefore, I am unable to open a new account, and the
    computer at this point cannot be used. I need clear instructions on what to do.
