    A home laptop with Win11 Home Pro, according to the owner, encountered some issue with logging in and wouldn't allow access to the system. However, all applications are present in the list. All shortcuts and other documents have also been found at %USER%/OneDrive/.     How to reset Windows 10 settings to default?

    Hi,

    As per your concern, some settings on Windows 10 have default options. You can reset Windows 10 to its defaults app by following this steps.

    • Go to Settings.
    • Choose System.
    • On the left side, select Default app.

    Reseting monitor to default settings?

    Is it possibel to reset the monitor to default settings?

    My problem is that I accidently set the monitor to 100Hz, so it went black in windows. I can get into safe mode with no problems, but in normal mode the monitor stays black. Is it possible to set the Hz in safe mode? I can't access the NVIDIA control panel in safe mode, and the monitor properties say 'Use Defaults'.

    Monitor model is: Dell D1226H.

    • Does this issue happens while you try to set other browser as default too or is it specific to specific browser?

    Any browser.

    Already did the steps you suggested. It's some kind of bug where it's impossible to set a default browser at all.

    I heard elsewhere from one other user     that it seems to be a problem with upgrading to 10 on the SP3. Sounds very specifc.
