Windows 10: Username path different from actual username

I recently did a clean install of Windows 10. While installing I connected to the internet so I was forced to make a live account. Once I finished setup I decided to make a local account and delete the live one. When the dialogue box popped up to input a username the box was already filled. So lets say the live email I was using was *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, well the username box was prefilled with johnw. At that time I didnt think of it as anything, I just cleared it and put my username, lets say John. I created the account then I deleted the live account, all was well and good but while installing an app I noticed that although the user IS John under the file path which should be C:\Users\John its listed as johnw the username that was pre-filled so the paths is C:\Users\johnw. This is not a really imporatant problem but I would like to change it to John instead of it being johnw.

username path error


So when I installed the OS I had no problem configuring the username and stuff like that, but when I started installing programs I notice that one letter of the username is off (instead of users/dorian it's users/doria). It's not a big problem, but still bothering me. I managed to change the username, but is it possible to change the path?

 

How To Type a File Path Without Username

I'm trying to type a file path to the documents folder that can be used on any PC.

However, when I use C:\Users\username\Documents it only works on my PC, because it's specific to my username.

Is there a way to type a file path to the documents folder that will work on any PC?

 

Spore Clubhouse/Username Database
