    Usernames and Passwords are being erases with the latest update


    Ever since this latest update, last week, every time I open my laptop and start using, I have to re-input my usernames and passwords. This is for everything; outlook, Chrome, OneDrive, etc. Websites I visit frequently like FB, I have to re-input my username and password. I did take the laptop to Best Buy to have them check it, they did not find any issue with the settings and suspect an issue with the update, since this all started after this latest update. Any help would be appreciated

    Nokia E72 Software Update - username and password fail!

    Hi,



    I am trying to update my E72 to the latest firmware. When I attempt to update on the phone, it asks me for username and password. What is this? I tried my Ovi username/password, this does not work. I phoned customer services, they suggested username 'nokiams'
    password 'nokiamspass' but this does not work either.



    I have a Mac and hence cannot download and install the update via computer.



    Can anyone kindly advise? Many thanks in advance!

    • Can you give us the screenshot of the dialog box that ask for username and password?
    • Are you able to view the files that are available on your USB?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Finally! An alternative to eraser...

    it looks much cleaner then the eraser so that is a big step up.
