  1. Using a batch command to record the RSSI between a LAN and Computer connected via AP ad Client

Hello, I am pretty new to Windows Forums, and I hope that someone can help me here. not sure if this on the right forum I am using a set of Tp -Link cpe 510 as an AP and client pair to help send data from a LAN hosted by a raspberry pi to a laptop located a few kilometers apart. I was able to connect the two devices together after changing some IP addresses and can send data to the laptop from the AP, but there is a critical piece of information that I also need to log, but I am unable to. I need to log some form of the signal strength between the laptop and the AP. Preferably as RSSI.

    :)

How to connect/disconnect to a VPN using the command line?

    Hi all

I have several network connections configured.

    • There is one wifi connection which automatically connects to my WLAN,
    • another cable based LAN connection to a NAS which is used for backups
    • and some L2TP connection connections (used for VPN if needed).

Is there a way to connect to these VPNs via the command line (so that I can have a "Batch" File which starts or stops this connection)? I already tried to find something but havent found a solution.

    Home LAN Connection

Thank you Sandeep, shortly after I posted this question the LAN name reverted to NETWORK 3 again, and this time a simple restart did not recover the machine so I powered it down for the night. This morning I re-synced the WiFi extender and started the
computer (HP Pavilion P6 series w/ AMD E2-3200APU) and performed your recommended LAN connection and driver updates. FYI the LAN connection options were "Remote desktop, Windows, and Web client" in that order. I moved "Windows" to the top of the list.

    So far, so good.
