    Using F5 to turn on laptop.


    Hello,

    For some reason I have to use F5 to turn on my laptop. The regular ON/OFF switch doesn't work.
    It's a HP Pavilion G6.

    Also when it starts (before the Windows logo) I get the following message:

    The HP BIOS application selected is corrupt or missing. Please install the application and try again.
    BIOS application error (501).

    However, I can continue to Windows after I pressed ENTER.
    I read on several forums to turn off HP Quicklook 2 in the BIOS but this option is not present for me.

    I have already reinstalled Windows 10 and tried to update the BIOS but without luck, the error persists.

    W10 on MacBookPro LED Keyboard lights

    Hello I have just upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 on my Apple's MacBook Pro 15'' Late 2013, everything seems to work great , the only problem is with the laptop keyboard. When using Windows 8.1 the LED Lights of the keyboard used to turn on automatically
    and then I was going to turn them off by pressing the F5 on my laptops keyboard. Unfortunately right now the LED turn on automatically, but somehow when pressing the F5 for turning them off like I used to do on Windows 8.1 now it doesn't work. Any tip?

    Can't turn on my Wifi adapter after installing Windows 10]

    I have the same problem. Driver is up to date and the message in the troubleshooter says to turn on the WIFI with the switch. There is a WIFI switch on this laptop as well as FN-F5 should turn it on, but it does not. So the problem is not the drive
    it is the ability to turn on the WIFI adapter.
