    Using Laptop as a passthrough for internet


    I am trying to get my laptop to be an intermediary with another device that cannot connect to wifi. I have an ethernet port on the laptop but no amount of messing around and searching is yielding me any answers. I know at the very least it is possible but when I look through my settings what I see is different from every tutorial and it just seems like a dead end.

    You may try the following steps on your laptop and check if it works.

    1. Open ‘Settings’ and choose ‘Network and Internet’.
    2. Click on ‘Ethernet’ and tap ‘Properties’ for the network connection.
    3. Set it to ‘Private’ and turn on ‘Make this PC discoverable’.
    4. Close settings when finished.

    IP Passthrough Nokia E61 USB cable

    I'm unable to use Passthrough IP with usb cable and Nokia Network Bridge.

    I use the connection with my laptop

    my laptop (static ip 192.168.0.2) is connected on a lan with internet connection (gatway ip 192.168.0.1), but I don't now how to configure my e61 ip and the "Nokia E61 Remote NDIS Device" (on pc) ip.

    I tried every possible ip combination but my phone can't use Passthrough IP for internet.
