    Using Local and MS accounts


    I have a computer using a local account. I use the Microsoft account separately to login to apps etc. When using another app I want to login with, I would get the account popup and can select my MS acct. How can I prevent that from accidentally being used in another app, I guess what I'm also saying is, is there a way to require a password when using my MS acct login? Thanks

    Sign in problem

    This is for that only i.e. you will be signing with a local account going forward. You are not converting MS Account to Local Account here. Your MS Account will be preserved but going forward you will be using your Local Account to login.

    Windows 10 partial account

    My MS User account also only uses the first four letters from the MS Account address. Is it possible one is a MS Account and the other is a Local Account listed under Family and other Users in Account Settings?
