Windows 10: Using LTSC 1809 w/Ryzen 2400G - Want to install scheduler improvements

found in 1903. Any way to do this without downloading and installing 1903?

Can I download and install 1903? Any options?

Windows 10 LTSC 1809 - Fixed the scheduler for Ryzen

Hello, after seeing AMD's E3 conference they were saying that Windows 10 1903 fixes the CPU scheduler for Ryzen CPU's. Now this is great as I have a Ryzen 2700x and will be upgrading to the new 3900x come next month. What is not great is that Microsoft will
not even issue a patch for LTSC users like myself. I'm not saying all the features in 1903 just the CPU scheduler should be included for us LTSC owners. I have LTSC for gaming as I cannot stand Pro or Home, sorry. Will there be any patch for us Ryzen CPU users
for LTSC? I feel as though we should get that patch.

I just spoke with Microsoft live chat. This is the response: "And regarding your question, There has been no update yet regarding the path for Ryzen CPU users for LTSC but it seems like ever since the
E3 conference, there will be an update on patches for all the CPU users for different brands."

Yes that is correct and I feel you Tony as I myself am waiting for that patch. I will make sure to forward this to our supervisors so that they can take work on it as soon as possible.

 

AMD Ryzen 3000 on Windows 10 LTSC

Is windows 10 LTSC is being "optimized" or at least supporting the new ryzen 3000 from AMD? since this optimization comes with the 1903 update and this version of windows won't have it, I'd like to know before purchasing new hardware.
