  1. Using Microsoft Basic Display Adapter, doesn't support HDMI

    Hello,

Frustratingly, unless I use the Microsoft basic display adapter, I can't change my brightness. However, I can't use HDMI with this driver.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    :)

I bought HD-500 DISPLAY ADAPTER and doesn't work on monitors with vga

One of the requirements for the adapter

To use the accessory, you need a Windows 10 Microsoft Lumia phone with Continuum and a USB-C™ connector supporting DisplayPort video output.
You also need a display with a DisplayPort or HDMI connector
    or a compatible adapter.

You need a display with HDMI input

  3. MS Wireless Display Adapter

I purchased a Wireless Display Adapter from a Microsoft Store a little while ago, and so far it's only been used on TVs, however I'd also like to be able to use it with the Dell P2014H monitor, but the problem is that it doesn't have any HDMI ports(it has
DP, DVI, VGA, USB). Now of course that kind of problem could usually be fixed easily with an adapter, and so I'm looking to buy

    this DP to HDMI adapter.
Before I buy this though, I just wanted to make sure that the Wireless Display Adapter would actually support having the HDMI end connected to an HDMI to DP adapter. I'm sure it would be but better to verify before I spend my money
    on one.

That means that Win10 has not installed the correct drivers for your video chip, so it has installed the generic drivers, instead.

You need to post here what video chip you are using -- AMD, Nvidia, etc.
