    I have been using my LifeCam xv-6000 Camera with Windows 10 for several years. It works well. Unfortunately my Windows 10 automatic upgrades stopped working and I was forced to go direct to Windows 10 Home version 1903 rather than simply upgrading from version 1803. Had to get a new motherboard which was loaded with version 1903. Now the LifeCam xv-6000 camera is no longer recognised. Device Manager shows the device as USB20 Camera (rather than LifeCam xv-6000) but has a yellow triangle with exclamation mark. I have the original LifeCam 1.4 disc and have tried to downloaded various versions of the driver for Windows 10, but nothing appears to work. In Skype the audio works fine and it says the source is from the USB20 Camera. The Skype test message confirms that the audio is working correctly. However for video Skype cannot find the camera and gives the message "No device found". I believe the solution is having the correct driver and being able to download this via the Device Manager. Can anyone please advise.

    Lifecam VX-6000 No Longer Works in Windows 10

    Tried all three suggested troubleshooting steps. Installation still identifies that the program for installing Microsoft Lifecam VX-6000 drivers is incompatible with the version of Windows selected.

    I realize that you are facing issues with the Microsoft Lifecam VX-6000
    . I will certainly assist you.

    I suggest you to reinstall the Microsoft Lifecam VX-6000 software in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

    Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Right click on the setup file of the driver and select “Properties”.
    • Select “Compatibility” tab.
    • Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select
      previous the version of Windows (Windows 8) from the drop down list.
    Let the software setup file install and then check the functionality
