Windows 10: Using Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center devices with a docking station

Hi there,I currently have a Microsoft Digital Media Pro keyboard connected to a laptop via a docking station as the laptop only has USB-C ports. As the keyboard is being passed through the dock to the laptop, the keyboard does not show in Device Manager as a Digital Media Pro keyboard and as such the Mouse and Keyboard Center does not find the device.Is there any way around this other than using a USB-C to USB-A adapter? Thanks!

Keyboard and Mouse not working with Surface Dock and Windows 10

I have just upgraded to Windows 10 I on my Surface Pro 3 with a Surface Docking station. My Microsoft Sculpt mouse and Ergo Keyboard pair has a dongle that is connected to the ports in the dock. The computer will not recognize the mouse and keyboard.
When I move the dongle directly to the Surface USB port, they are both recognized. This issue did not happen with Windows 8.1.

I have tried deleting the drivers as well as the Mouse and Keyboard center and it did not work. Any suggestions?

 

I cannot connect to home Wi-Fi off the docking station but not on docking station.

1. I cannot connect to home Wi-Fi off the docking station but not on docking station.
2. When i'm on docking station system says i'm connected to home Wi-Fi, but when i browse says not connected.
3. Other devices connected to home Wi-Fi has no issue.
4. What steps can i take to resolve the issue other than updating Wi-Fi adapter driver?

Were both keyboard and mouse working together with the USB docking station before? Since it has 4 ports, try switching around the ports through trial and error, it could be that one of the port is faulty. Also, please try the USB docking station with the keyboard
and mouse both connected to it with another pc/laptop to narrow down the issue.

You can also try uninstall your keyboard and mouse driver then scan for hardware changes:

Go to Start > Type "Device Manager" and hit enter > right click on your keyboard driver > select properties > select driver tab > click on uninstall device > select "Delete the driver software for this device" and click OK > In Device Manager, on the Action
menu, select Scan for hardware changes > Wait for it to scan and reinstall the driver then restart your pc and check if the issue still persists.

Repeat the steps for mouse driver.
