  1. Using mixing board with laptop for guitar and vocal on Zoom

Greetings I'm an old analog guy in a new digital world and trying to catch up fast. I hope someone can advise me one the best way to sound acceptable on a Zoom Church service. Have been trying to use my laptop mic. The host recorded the last service and I sound horrific. Embarrassed been doing 2 services a week for awhile now. Would rather not play than sound so bad. Want to use my older Mackie mixer with My new Asus laptop. I have a cable with 3.5 mm jack and double RCA jacks. Will this work and sound quality improve or can someone recommend an app or program I might need. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Be Blessed just brent

P.S. I think the Telemarketer callers are starting their own "DO NOT CALL LIST". They put an !*!*! by my name. So bored being in isolation when they call I WONT LET THE GET OFF THE PHONE. Some are even rude and hang up on me?

    :)
