Windows 10: Using my digital camera on zoom

Hi,

i have an actitop fhd camera that works really well, i would like to use it on my laptop instead of the built in webcam, but when i connect it to my windows 10 i can’t use it the camera display shows the usb and sd card icon and when i go into the zoom In device manager it shows that the camera is detected but I can’t use it.

Lumia 530 can't zoom on camera

I haven't used the 520 myself, but as far as I know all Lumias have zoom, but assuming it has it will only be digital zoom as in most phones, only the very top Lumias have the post-processed zoom. How to zoom depends which camera app you are using:

• In the normal Microsoft Camera app, you have to start with your finger and thumb together on the screen to zoom in and draw them back together again to zoom back in.
• In the Lumia Camera app, you move your finger vertically up the screen to zoom in and down to zoom back out.

 

Help! Looking for A GOOD Digital Camera Under $300

Well Im looking for One under $300, Cuz the one I had the LCD cracked and Kodak wanted to charge almost what I payed for it to be fixed, so now im looking to get a new one *Oh Well hwell:

So here are the ones im looking at, really dont know that much about Digital Cameras, so thats why im asking for help *Big Grin

I picked these cuz they have a higher Optical Zoom then the one I had which was X5 Optical Zoom, cuz I like that you dont have to be so close. So if you know about Digital Cameras help and if you have other sugestions there welcomed.

Also the biggest pics I would get made would be like 11X14" or 16X20"

Digital camera zoom, when taking a picture the shot can be zoomed in on and you can then take a picture.

Yes, this is what camera zoom is. Depends on the camera hardware.

You can still change the size of a picture when viewing after it is taken.
