    Do you know that if some institutions or universities do not allow their students / alumni to download the office 365 to PC for offline use? My alumni email is eligible for Office 365 Education but looks like I am not able to use the Office 365 offline and for example as I click to create a document, it jumps to the browser... but I am not very familiar with Office, ...

    Education version of Office 365 concern

    Has zero to do with the school, but you do need a active .edu email. The school could care less about how you use software that they offer licenses through Microsoft’s .edu line availability, as long as it is not for illicit means.
