    Using Phone Link and country codes


    When I attempt to send a message in Phone Link it doesn't permit me to type in a ten digit number without going to my contact list in Google. When a contact is pulled up it includes the country code which invalidates the call. The country code cannot be eliminated in the Google contacts.

    Hi Roger - Please try this workaround if your country code is not listed and you’re unable to send the link directly to your phone, you can download the Microsoft My Phone software from
    http://myphone.microsoft.com/install , transfer the downloaded file to your phone, then install the software.

    My Phone Update Phone Number - Country Not Listed

    I am trying to update my My Phone account settings, but having clicked on the "update" link next to the picture of my phone I am unable to input my mobile phone number as my country (and therefore the country code) is not listed. Can this list be updated,
    or is there a way to enter a number that is not listed under the country options? My country code (for the Falkland Islands) is: 00 500

    No my country code is found in the "Linked to my mobile phone"

    Go into Account, ---> add new phone----> link to my mobile phone----> then there is box prompted out that country codes are shown , eg US+1, But I am in Hong Kong and my country code is +852 there is no such country code and it does not allow to key -in
    the country code, how to deal with this ?
